Nottm Forest 1-0 Sheffield Utd

Coca Cola League Championship - -Tuesday 16th February 2010
Great start to the game .. Rob Earnshaws fourth minute tap in settling a game that got worse as it went on!!
Kev drives like the Stig when we go to the City Ground -- fantastic! My son Chris accompanied us, and we met up with Kev's son Dale outside the ground. We had arrived at the ground in plenty of time and when we walked into the posh hospitality suite we caught the end of Steve Hodge interviewing Peter Davenport.
Took our seats and you have to say the City Ground looked a treat....and when the rousing "Mull Of Kintyre" rang out, the hairs stood up on the back of your head....great atmosphere. Forest played really well for the first 20 minutes or so, then seemed to forget their game plan.....
Nice coffee and biscuits at half-time - plus a nice young lady brought us some more after the first handful had gone.....
The second half was barely a minute old when Darius Henderson was caught out using an elbow on Kelvin Wilson... straight red and quite right as well. However, as usually happens the team with 11 players struggled against the team with 10. Turned into a very scrappy half, but Referee N.S. Miller didn't help - his constant whistling for minor offences a real pain in the arse.....
Straight out at full time. Kev again in Stig mode......nudging here, creeping there -- bullying elsewhere.....getting out of the Rushcliffe Civic Centre car park isn't easy, but Mr. Goodstig was superb. We detoured to Castle Marina to pick up Chris' partner but were still home just after half ten....
Admission - corporate season tickets
Programme / team sheet free
Coffee / tea / biscuits free - and bloody lovely.....
Thursday - Kimberley Tn v Pinxton
